Congratulations! We are so happy that you’ve decided to get married. May your marriage be blessed by God’s love and peace! If you consider the Evanston Vineyard your church family, here is how we can support you in this important step in your lives.
Premarital Counseling
If you are interested in premarital counseling through our church, please contact Brian Van Der Werff.
Request an Officiator
Staff pastors may be available for your wedding. If you have a relationship with any of the pastors, you are encouraged to approach them directly about officiating. If you are not already connected to one of our pastors, please email [email protected] for more information. If you wish to hire a pastor from outside the church, you may do so. Please contact our front office for more information on this process.
Host Your Ceremony
The Evanston Vineyard’s auditorium may be rented for wedding ceremonies. Please note that our building and staff are not equipped to host wedding receptions. Since our first priority are Sunday morning services, all wedding ceremonies must be finished by 12 PM on Saturdays, with all guests out of the building by 1 PM. We are unable to provide any material resources from our building (tables, chairs, sound equipment, etc) to weddings not held at Evanston Vineyard.
Costs
- Auditorium rental fee is $1,000 for non-members and $500 for members.
- Using sound and/or video in the Auditorium requires hiring 1-2 trained members of our AV teams ($75 for the first hour, $25 for each additional hour, per person.)
- Members of the Evanston Vineyard worship team may be hired to provide music at a rate of $75 for the first hour, $25 for each additional hour, per person.
- Live-streaming and video recording are available for a flat fee of $50.
- A Vineyard custodian must be hired at $25 per hour. The custodian must be present for the entire event.
- Other rooms may be rented upon request. Pricing varies based on the size of the room and the number of people using it.
- Set-up the day of the event and rehearsal time the day before the event are complimentary. Normal fees for AV team members and band members apply. Set-up may be possible the day before the event depending on other reservations.
Funerals
The building is available for funerals or memorial services at no charge to members or regular attenders for immediate family members. Please email [email protected] for more information. To request a staff pastor to preside over a funeral please call the church office at (847) 328-4544 and leave a message for the pastor-on-duty.
