How to give
All of the good things we’re able to do in the Vineyard and in the communities we serve are because of the generous gifts of people who attend our church.
Beyond the needs of the church, we believe that giving helps us grow our faith, and is part of our worship to God. The Bible says that faithful giving will draw us closer to God, reminds us that everything belongs to God, and that it is the key to a full life. It also says faithful giving blesses us in return and that it makes us happy.
During COVID-19, there are four ways to give at the Vineyard. You can choose whichever one best fits your life.
- Give online
- Use the cash drop box at church
- Mail your checks to Evanston Vineyard; 2495 Howard Street, Evanston, IL 60202
- Use the white pre-paid envelope found in the seatback pockets and throughout the lobby to mail your gift to the church office
- Use your bank’s billpay service or give through automatic debit
All contributions are 100% tax-deductible. In order for a cash gift to be tax deductible, a giving envelope must be completed.
Thank you for investing in changed lives!
A Note on End-of-Year Giving
Stock must be delivered to our stock account at SSN by December 31. The stock exchange will probably close at early that day (1:00pm instead of 4:00pm EST) as it is the day before the holiday.
Please also note that mail must be delivered before the close of business inside the local post office on December 31. Check times on the web for local post office closing times. Mail dropped in the outside courtesy-box get dated January 2, 2019, which would make it a 2019 gift instead of a 2018 gift.
