DETAILS

We’re excited to spend the fall growing together in the spiritual practices as a church, and we’d love for you to join us. Jesus promises that when we follow Him, his yoke is easy and his burden is light. But the life Jesus asks us to live isn’t easy. He asks us to love our enemies, to rejoice when we are persecuted, to turn the other cheek. Jesus himself lived this life by staying close with his Father through the spiritual practices. Today Jesus invites us into these same practices. As we place ourselves under the stream of the Holy Spirit, He transforms our hearts and we become a different kind of people. Living how Jesus lived starts to become automatic for us.

Each week we’ll focus on either a classic spiritual practice or one that is talked about less often. We’ll follow along with the Sunday sermons. We’ll take a look at solitude, caring for those in need, Scripture meditation, nurturing beauty, and more.
