What are the current guidelines regarding face coverings?

The City of Evanston’s Health & Human Services Department has announced that all individuals over the age of two, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask in public indoor spaces, beginning Friday, August 27.

When in the church building, masks are required at all times, whether gathering during the week or on Sunday mornings.

What about cleaning procedures?

Our Facilities Team routinely cleans and sanitizes high-use areas (lobbies, classrooms, auditorium and bathrooms). Additionally, updated HVAC settings and protocols have been implemented to improve air movement and filtration in all indoor spaces. Finally, we also use portable air purifiers to improve overall air quality within our auditorium and classrooms.

What safety precautions are in place for our Kids and Youth ministries?

All children aged 2 and over are required to wear a mask in all areas of the church, including their classrooms. All rooms are routinely cleaned and sanitized. We ask that after parents check their children in, they drop them at the classroom door and not enter the room.

Please register in advance for Vineyard Kids, as this helps ensure safe capacity limits and teacher/child ratios in the classrooms.

Youth in Limitless (middle school) and VisionQuest (high school), must also wear masks, regardless of vaccination status.

How can I help keep our community healthy?

If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or feeling unwell, please stay home. If you test positive for COVID-19 after attending one of our services, please email us to let us know.

Will there still be services online?

Absolutely! You can still join us virtually at Church Online. The chat opens 15minutes before the service goes live. You can also catch the service later on our YouTube channel.

Can I volunteer to help?

Yes! We know many of our volunteers are missing their involvement – and we miss you! This is a great time to get involved in areas like worship (musicians) service production (camera, lights, photography, sound, and production assistants) and our Sunday Welcome Team (front door greeters, lobby hosts, communion table). Multiple opportunities are available to serve in Vineyard Kids, Limitless (middle school) and VisionQuest (high school) ministries. Get in touch here.
