Our focus is to have relationships and build community with everyone. In the Clothes Closet we help people find affordable, new and gently used, clothing. Proceeds made go into creating training jobs in the Clothes Closet. We partner with local organizations that work with the homeless, ex-criminals, and at-risk youth. We use the Clothes Closet as a stepping stone for people that need a second chance.

Wednesday evenings 5:30-8:30pm:
  • This program is specifically for people that need help getting employed. The Clothes Closet is used as a stepping stone and focuses on helping the homeless, ex-criminals and at-risk youth that need a second chance.
  • We help by preparing people with general work skills like how to work in teams, customer service, time management, being responsible and working under pressure. You do not need to be interested in retail to train in the Clothes Closet.
  • The length of each training program is determined case-by-case and only runs during our Wednesday nights in the Care Center.
  • We connect you to our Care Center’s Resource Connections team who will help you find local resources for any obstacles you may have as well as connect you to workshops
  • We connect you to community and small groups within the Evanston Vineyard Church
  • At the end of the program we write a letter of recommendation and will connect you to the Business Development Group for help with resumes, interviewing and job placement.
We would love to invite you to a Sunday morning service. All are welcome and you can come as you are. Please check out our different locations and times. We also have lots of different groups you can get involved with. Please look at our small group calendar and see what fits the best for you. Questions? Please fill out the form below.
